Cookie Base

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® oatmeal cookie mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 tablespoon water
1 egg
1 cup chopped pecans

Filling
40 caramels, unwrapped
1/3 cup whipping cream
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Topping
1 bag (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips (2 cups)
1/3 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1. Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, water and egg until soft dough forms. Stir in 1 cup pecans. Press dough in bottom and up sides of ungreased 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom.
2. Bake 19 to 21 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 10 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, in medium microwavable bowl, microwave caramels and 1/3 cup cream on High 2 to 4 minutes, stirring twice, until caramels are melted. Stir in 3/4 cup pecans. Spread over cooled crust. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
4. In another medium microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips and 1/3 cup cream on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until chocolate is smooth. Pour over filling. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup pecans. Refrigerate 2 hours or until set. To serve, let stand at room temperature 10 minutes before cutting. Store covered in refrigerator.

I was cutting coupons tonight from the redplum insert we got today,and Olay is doing a rebate when you buy 3 olay Facial Moisturizers,Facial Treatments,Facial Cleansers,Hand&Body Lotions Body Washes or 6+ soap Packs..This deal begins 2.12.2010....so I would wait to until February 12 when this promotion begins to do the above deal.  From what I can see in the Target ad their GC deals run though 13th....so you will have 2 days to take advantage of a even better deal!!

Will trade Snow for HEAT???Please???LOL

I was reading one of the other Blogs the other day and thought it was so cute.  They had a picture of their house COVERED in snow.  The caption was FREE snow to anyone just bring a shovel!

Well I will trade SNOW for heat!!

Our lovely furnice decided that this week(one of the coldest in VA in a long time) to stop,die,be condemned etc...

sooooo I have NO heat!!  Even better we got little heaters(my home warranty covered it and the heat so have no fear!!Oh Home warranties ROCK!!!!) to help, well they keep blowing fuses around the house...Apparently,(my thoughts) back in 1989 not every house had a computer much less more than 1 computer..go figure,how did we manage!!LOL!!

So hopefully by Friday I should have heat and the electrician is coming tomorrow!!!

Okay what next,Fireplace,Fridge,Stove????Bring it on Money grows on trees right!!

so I will be deal shopping for months to make up for this doozie!!!

I did okay today,I have done better!!  Batteries kills me everytime..but I can look at this transaction as I paid for the batteries and everything else was FREE!  I needed double A batteries for my coupon machines soo its okay...

Target Trip today

I just couldn't resist while working in Target today I came across a couple of deals...so of coarse I have to run out to the car for my purse and coupons and shop!!

The Sobe were $1.  I used a BOGO & .50 Target coupon for those

The J&J kits were .97 cents and I have a TON of $1 coupons(I only buy a few at a time to make sure I leave enough for everyone!)

The ALL was on clearance for 2.48-there was a $2 off in last weeks redplum & also a $1 printable here!

My total was:3.98

sooo for the price of one bottle of detergent(heck less then that,I got all 9 items!No too shabby!!
